Add Non-Working Days (NWD) to an Employee’s Profile

HR Duo System Guide

Add Non-Working Days (NWD) to an Employee’s Profile

Summary: Once added, an employee’s non-working days appear on the Roster to inform the manager that the employee has an agreed arrangement to not work on those days.  This does not mean that the employee cannot be rostered to work on these days, merely that there is an expectation that the employee is not working.

Instructions

  1. Click on Manager > Staff, select the relevant staff member

  2. On the System Details tab, scroll down to the Working Pattern Hours section

  3. Choose from the Working Day? drop down list to indicate whether the employee is not available for the full-day or the early or late part of the day

  4. The NWD displays on the Roster - but the manager can still add hours to that day to  request that the employee works

  5. Click on Update Hours to save the NWDs to the employee profile

  6. Repeat the steps above to remove a NWD from an employee’s profile - select Working Day from the drop down list
